Other handmade crafts may add personal touch to your basket. They could be in the form of papier mache’, origami, sculpture, small painting, woven or knitted items, etc.

If the one giving the baby gift basket intends to give it during a christening celebration or baptism, a small bible, silver cups and any symbolic item that adheres to the theme of the celebration and that the recipient’s religion appreciates may also be placed in the basket.

20 Ways to Mend a Broken Heart

wainting-for-himNothing is more heartbreaking than to lose someone you love, almost excruciatingly painful. At times you may feel that life is over and that there is nothing worth living for. Personally haven been there and experienced almost all of it myself. At times I have even sworn to never love again and with each additional heartbreak I tend to build a higher and stronger fortress around my heart. Even though we swear off love, we end up falling again, often wondering how they broke through our fortress in the first place. Once again leading to another heartbreaking story.

No matter the circumstance, it always hurts somewhat to lose someone. The deeper the love and commitment or the situation of the breakup will determine the amount of pain one experiences. One who is married with kids and is unexpectedly left, followed by a nasty divorce may have a different experience than someone who has only been in a relationship for a few months.

Yet if a love has died out, then a separation can be very amicable with little heart ache. Those who are more emotionally invested will have a tougher time dealing with a broken heart. When couples fall in love they imagine their lives’ together in the future. Everything is planned or imagined in their mind down to the number of kids they want to the type of house, pictures of them growing old together and the experiences they will share. When one of the parties is left heartbroken, it is as though someone has robbed them of their dreams, leaving them empty with no future to look towards. The other party is typically emotionally done, causing them only discomfort rather than actual pain unless the decision was really hard to make or they are borderline.

The powerless feeling, disappointment of shattered dreams, the grief and anguish one experiences is heartbreaking. The feeling of rejection by someone that you love is never easy. It’s the loss of your best friend, a confidant, a partner, the keeper of your secrets and lover. Some wonder if they can ever get passed the emptiness and hurt. I am here to tell you that if I can do it and love again than so can anyone else. I will share a brief personal heartbreaking story about my loss at the end of this article.

Mend a Broken Heart

Even though it may seem impossible at this time, below are some tips to help you through this hard time. First understand that it’s the loosing of love that is excruciating, not the love itself.

  • Writing – buy a journal or type out everything that you are feeling. It can be random thoughts and feelings. Get it all out. Read through it to see if anything is missing and continue to add to it as needed.
  • Relive the Relationship – write down all the good times and all the bad ones. No matter how heartbreaking it is to go through it again you need find out why the relationship went bad.
  •  Make a List – list out your ex’s good qualities and bad ones. Make sure it’s a complete list down to the little things that drove you crazy.
  • What Do You Want – even though you may not be ready to date yet, write down all the qualities that you want in a partner and what you don’t want.
  • Cry and find something to take your aggression out on. A pillow, golf ball, racquetball or anything that isn’t living or breathing.
  • Take the “I” out – rather than focusing on your feelings and needs you need to put yourself in your partner’s shoes and see what it would have been like to date you. Make a list of the things you would have done different or better. Was their needs met or did you have to high of expectations. Did you nag or degrade them? When you realize where you went wrong it can easily bring back all the heartbreaking memories.
  • Get even! How you do is by proving that they were wrong about you. This is done by getting in the best shape you possibly can. Exercise does wonders for your self confidence; helps you take out pent up aggression and will make your ex wonder what got into you and their heart will be breaking because they let you go.
  • Get Out - go shopping and buy a new wardrobe. Get a makeover. Take care and pamper yourself.
  • Do the things that your ex would never do. Have fun doing it.
  • Put a smile on regardless of how your feeling, never let them know that they got to you.
  • Start talking – to everyone and anyone. Make new friends, just don’t bring up the ex. This is your new life without them in it. Remember you were a person before they came along.
  • Make a list of all your qualities and everything you have to offer. Brag about yourself. If you don’t love you then who will!
  • Make a list of goals that you want to pursue. It can be anything from taking a cooking class, a new career or a dance class. Start working towards them. For me it was to return to college.
  • Pack up the evidence of your relationship together. Put it in a box and set it in the garage or somewhere you don’t have to look at it until you are over your heart break.
  • Stop the pain triggers that are heartbreaking. It’s absolutely heartbreaking going to places where you have fond memories of your ex. So don’t go to the restaurants that you went together, take a different route to work, or don’t drive by his house or work. Figure out what the hardest times are and do something different then you would of done if they were there. Fall asleep to music or TV. Sleep with a big pillow or stuffed animal. Go out to dinner after work rather than home to an empty house. Meet up with friends or family.
  • Stop the calls, emails and texts. If for some reason you absolutely have to communicate then keep it short and strictly business. NO PERSONAL STUFF. They will use it against you to keep you hanging on or make you feel bad by telling you what they are doing. DON’T DO IT! You need a break time, when your heartbreaking is done then you can become friendlier.
  • Get rid of negative thoughts about everything. Think only positive things and you will attract more positive in your life. If you only think negative thoughts then you will attract more pain and negativity.
  • Start talking to the opposite sex and flirt. You don’t need to jump into another relationship, but just start talking so you feel comfortable again. This will give you the confidence for when you are ready to date. Just don’t talk about the ex.
  • When the time comes and your ready, regardless of how hard it is, you have to forgive your ex for everything. This takes time and doesn’t happen overnight. Start with the little things and work towards the big heartbreaking issues. You don’t have to give it to them, but write a letter to them stating that you forgive them for specific items. Then keep it for a while. This will give you the release that’s needed for you to be able to move on. A huge weight will be taken off your shoulders and you won’t carry around the hurt or resentment for years to come.
  • Wish them the best – When you love someone completely then you are able to let them go. Yes it hurts, but you want them to be happy and have everything they want and deserve, unfortunately it wasn’t with you. This means that the right person is out there for you to find. Really, do we want to be with someone that isn’t happy or that doesn’t want to be with us? No! Wouldn’t it be better to find someone who adores and cherishes who we are? Yes!

Your the only one who can stop heartbreaking thoughts of what could of been.

Even though it may not seem like it now, but time and some effort will help you move past all the heartbreaking memories and you will be better prepared for your next relationship. By knowing what you want and the mistakes you have made in the past you will do everything in your power to not make the same mistakes again.

Lamb Meat Sauce

I’ve been so busy lately I’ve not really had much time for cooking. Mostly it’s been delivery, or carry out, or something quick thrown together. I really miss real cooking. It’s also so late by the time I get home that I have been coming home every night and haven’t been seeing the guys except maybe on Friday nights. And I have missed hanging out with them, and really missed spending time with Mark. So Saturday Mark and I went to Haji’s, a Persian market I had gotten lots of recommendations for from the Iranians I know. For some reason I was thinking it was the big market. No, it’s tiny. Packed and tiny. I got tons of spices and things, although they didn’t have a lot of what I wanted.

Anyway, we ended up going to three stores Saturday night to collect ingredients, including 10 lbs of lean ground lamb and some Greek cheese (kefalotyri). Yum!! I vacuum sealed and froze most of the lamb. I have various things in mind for it. Lately I have been craving a good moussaka, and the Greek restaurant that makes the best one around here is rather spendy. So last night I brined and roasted the eggplant (so much nicer and healthier than frying in oil!), cooked up a couple potatoes (which I think I’ll leave out next time), and made the lamb meat sauce. Sooooo good! That lamb meat sauce was da bomb! :-)

Tonight I assembled and baked the moussaka and that was our main course tonight. The flavor is DELICIOUS. The appearance needs work. Texture was a bit off as well. But I have lots of leftovers. YAY!!!

Anyway, that’s not the point of this post. I have been drooling over Ottolenghi's cookbooks. Beautiful photography, fascinating stories and history, and mouth-watering recipes! So that’s also what prompted the shopping trip Saturday. I wanted to get stuff together. Barberries, and kashk and some good tomato paste, and homemade torshi, and those lovely green lentils, and more sumac and za’atar and a few other things. I picked up some of the tiny long thin Persian cucumbers from Haji’s. Soooo good! And I had some beautiful ripe tomatoes from Market Street, as well as radishes, and lots of herbs, so I made a version of this:

http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2011/feb/12/spiced-chickpea-salad-vegetarian-recipe

(there’s a measurement converter in the middle of the page)

I had 3 of the tiny persian cukes, 3 med tomatoes, about 3 or 4 walnut-sized radishes. I forgot the lemon zest in the dressing, and apparently forgot to buy a red bell pepper. I used a bit more parsley and cilantro, and used only about 2/3 of the called-for amount of allspice on the chickpeas. Oh, and I cheated and used a can of Sadaf chickpeas, drained and rinsed well. CBA cooking from dried, and who has the time? I didn’t bother with the Greek yogurt or the pita. Oh, I used less olive oil as well. That salad was awesome. Even Michael loved it. The dressing would be delicious on any salad. My garlic clove was nice and fat, and I only used about 2 or 3 tb of red onion cause it can quickly take over a dish.

So tasty! Takes minutes to throw together. The spiced chickpeas are done in under 5 minutes from start to finish. Meanwhile my dressing “marinated". Then I tossed it ith the salad and served bowls of it which chickpeas on top.

I have tons of parsley and mint, and a few cukes and tomatoes left, so tomorrow night I think is going to be tabbouleh, and some kind of salad, and hummus. And Mark and I are going to make spanakopita. Yes, it contains phyllo so isn’t beachy unless you can source out some whole wheat one, but *shrug* we’re OK with eating a few bites of deliciousness now and then. :-) I have two beautiful globe eggplant left of the ones I got at Central Markup, so I think a batch of baba ghanouj is in order as well. With pomegranate seeds – an Ottolenghi twist I want to try.

Sunday the company my cousin works for had their family day at the Dallas zoo. I hadn’t been to the one in Dallas in about 13 or 14 years, and Mark had never been. I had been once or twice and found it depressing, so we always went to the one over in Ft. Worth, which is one of the best in the country. Anyway, since I was last there, they have improved it and seriously expanded it, although I still much prefer the one in FTW. But we spent all day walking around the zoo. Lots of hills and inclines. I got a serious workout! So yesterday morning I woke up a bit sore. By last night, I could barely move. Today, my calves are all tight, and it feels like the muscles running up the front of my leg on either side of my shin bones have been shredded. Things refuse to bend or flex. I walk funny, and it hurts a lot. But you know, the exercise was good for me! :-) I should do that more often. lol

On another positive note, I am getting a couple days off the beginning of November to go back to ‘bama for a long weekend and see Mom (my grandmother). It was part of the conditions of my accepting the job, but then I didn’t think that I was going to be able to afford to go. Thankfully, Southwest had a fare sale yesterday. Still going to cost me about $700 between flight, car and hotel, but it will be good to see Mom.

OK, I am completely wiped out. This week has been killer at work and it’s only Tuesday. Three more days to go. Project deadlines keep getting moved up, leaving us scrambling. On the positive side, lots of my ideas and suggestions are being implemented. It’s a slow, formal process (they’re really big on processes!), but at least I’m not being ignored and made to feel I’m useless. I am so glad I made this change. The commute is still a bitch. Not much I can do about that at this point.

Oh, I had to laugh. This morning a cop pulled me over on the way to work. I couldn’t figure out why because I certainly wasn’t speeding. We were only going about 25 if we were lucky on the turnpike. I thought maybe a brake light had gone out or something. No, it was for “disregarding a traffic control device”. Huh? It’s not like there are stop signs or traffic lights on the turnpike. I finally had to ask “I’m sorry, sir, but what traffic control device?” … “That solid white line back there. Your rear tires did not completely clear the end of the line before you changed lanes.” REALLY?! It’s where an entrance ramp comes into the turnpike to form another lane, and no one was coming so I moved over into that lane in preparation to take my exit which was coming up next. So my rear tire crossed over maybe 6″ before the solid white line ended and became a dashed line. That was really worth pulling me over and delaying me for 20 minutes. Must’ve been a slow morning! Oh well, at least he let me off with a warning.

The funniest part though was that he had his head in my passenger window and kept sniffing deep. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what he was sniffing for. I took a shower this morning and brushed my teeth and put on my deodorant. He says “Have you been drinking in here?” I couldn’t stop myself from laughing. “Uhm, no, I’m on my way to work. I haven’t had anything to drink this morning but a sip of water after I brushed my teeth.” He’s still breathing deep. So I turned down the A/C which was blowing in his fac…e My guess is that’s what it was… although when I got to work, I realized I had forgotten my sweaty socks from last night on the passenger floorboard. They’re in the laundry basket now. :-D

Cheers!

Good Diet Plan for Teenage Girls

For girls, especially in their teenage years, maintaining a good diet plan can be an important step to a healthy life and the desired body shape and size. Good diet plans for teenage girls can be a step forward to being model thin while ensuring one avoids starvation diet plans.

Have breakfast as your first item in your diet plan. This is important as it gets the body working. If you are looking for caffeine avoid sugary drinks. They contain lots of calories. Fruits such as bananas and apples can offer a good start. They are low in calories and high in fiber. Eggs especially the egg-whites are rich in proteins and can be a good component for a breakfast. You can cook eggs in olive oil.

Do not omit lunch in your diet plan. Let your lunch have more vegetables such as lettuce, peppers and fruits. Include lean meat such as turkey or chicken. If you are eating out avoid foods such as pizza, French fries and chicken nuggets.

Have a snack between lunches as dinner. This assures the body that it is not starving and therefore keeps the ‘furnace burning’. A bag of carrots or popcorn can do for this snack.

It’s absolutely crucial you make it a priority to aim for the your best shape based on your current body proportions and have a workout plan that is structured in a way that does this for you.

What is the Phen375 way

While writing this article I realized my biggest goal is quite simple. I really wanted to educate our clients about how and why we ask you to follow our program to the letter. We want you to eat healthy and cleanly, also by avoiding processed foods, chemicals, preservatives and artificial ingredients you are greatly improving your health but also helping your system work much better and efficiently, creating a more efficient metabolism and weight loss experience. Infact I heard about Phen375 from y good friend Helen Bulter she is an awsome writer and blogger)

You should choose natural foods if at all available (stop eating all that junk food) try eating none processed foods and products that contain white sugar. Eat raw or lightly steamed vegetables to preserve the natural nutrition. Fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, eggs, fish, and chicken breast are clean eating staples which are good for you (avoid pork, and red meats and processed fats) .Healthy eating is a desirable, sensible, even noble goal to help keep . Your body will thank you for it. keep your body healthy and clean. By eating healthy you are striving to achieve optimum health.

I use a lot of simple easy to understand quotes in my articles, here is one that I actually heard recently and is quite correct and very easy to understand. Think of your body a as a credit card with extremely high interest. Now think of how much fun it is to go and charge all sorts of things on your credit card (fast food, cakes, candies, sodas, lots of red meats ect ) you get the idea. Now imagine that you have been charging on that card for a long time and all that interest has built up. Now the bill has come in, it’s time to pay.

I know you all understand its fun to charge but not so much fun when you have to pay it back. Now instead of money it’s your health you are paying back. Now if you had charged wisely and cleaned off most if not all that debt as you went along you would not have much to worry about. We want you to start cleaning up that debit, leaning down, getting rid of all that excess weight. It’s for your benefit and believe me when I tell you most older people will make this statement. If I had known I was going to live this long I sure would have taken better care of myself. Go educate yourself; read our diet articles at falosspro.com they all have a common theme. Educating our clients for long term healthy weight loss and making real improvements in our client’s lives. We are increasing your body’s metabolic rate by using phen375 diet tabs, combining that with proper eating habits works!

We want you to reach a healthy weight and have an active quick metabolism. You need to break old bad habits and replace them with new healthy habits. You can accomplish these goals over a period of time. It’s a known fact that it takes 21 days of repeated behavior to build a new habit, you cannot skip one day and then do it the next. You have to be consistent; really it takes a minimum of 21 days of repeated behavior to make it an automatic habit. You will simply want to eat healthy without even thinking about it. We want you to get off the processed foods, candy bars, soft drinks that most of us consume. Remember your body is your best asset, without our health what do we really have? Losing your health is probably the worst thing that could ever happen to us during our life time.

Healthy eating and cleansing of our body are extremely important. we are mainly concerned with the liver and kidneys. Just by drinking pure clean water in sufficient amounts normally allows your body to clean itself of toxins in the blood stream. This is a principal requirement for general health and weight loss. You will feel much better, your energy will increase; you will become sick less frequently. Our bodies are amazing and rezelant. We just have to give our bodies a chance, by cleaning our bodies up we are allowing for a rapid recover and normal metabolic function. How do we accomplish this? Through health clean eating, drinking lots of water and loosing unneeded body fat, remove undesirable toxins that are stored in our fat and of course remove those unwanted extra pounds all at the same time.

When you are on the phentemine375™ diet, you are eating six times per day, low calorie but healthy. You will not get overly hungry because we have you eating something literally every 2 hrs during the course of a day. We are forcing your body to increase your metabolic rate through our phen375 diet pills and diet plan all working together. I cannot state this strongly enough, drink lots of water during the day. Fat in general is where our body stores toxins. Once you start burning fat using our phentemine375™ products and diet plan, you are effectively releasing large amounts of toxins into our blood. You need to make sure you kidneys and liver are able to flush out those toxins. We want to keep the fire burning meaning your metabolism working at its peak efficiency.

The human body is about 60% water, by diluting those toxins; you are removing them from your body making that 60% water content in your body less toxic. It’s pretty simple really if you think about it. By becoming less toxic your body, health and well being will greatly improve. Think of it in simple terms of your liver and kidneys and how they work. A simple example would be a coffee filter works very effectively the first time you use it right! Why because it’s clean and the water will pass through easily! If you attempt to reuse it a few times what will happen? Over flow it will not filter properly, your coffee will not taste as it should. You don’t have the correct mix of coffee and water.

Think of your kidneys and liver in the same terms. If they cannot filter out the toxins in your blood, you also don’t have the correct mix. What will your body’s system do to correct this improper balance? It’s going to stop the excess toxins from being dumped into your blood stream. How will it accomplish that, simply by slowing down the metabolic rate, decreasing the burning of fat and reducing the emissions of toxins into your body. This is why we keep telling you over and over to follow our program step by step. Do it the phen375 way and get real success for long term weight loss and improved health.

Don’t do it your way, do it the phen375 way. Think about it, our company has literally spent thousands upon thousands of dollars in research and development not to mention the hours involved. Ask yourself how much time, money and effort you have spent working on weight loss? Who would you consider yourself and expert on the subject? I suspect you will realize probably phen375 is the expert, next ask yourself whose advice should you follow? We know what works and why . One of our goals is to educate you as well, our method of thinking is if you understand the reasons why, you are an educated consumer and can make educated choices that are the correct choices for your health and well being.

If do it our way the phen375 way and I mean really follow our plan to the letter. You will get very good and significant results. Follow our plan completely and whole heartedly. By following what we ask for 30 days to start out with you will see great benefits that will change your life literally. Then it’s so much easier to continue and realize your long term weight loss and health benefits.
